Overview
Two Israeli-French developers approached me after launching a multilingual app aimed at the Israeli market. While the app was functional, user engagement and exposure were very low.

The Problem
The app wasn't connecting with users. Issues were discovered with the user experience, content, and local adaptation. No user testing or prior research had been conducted.

The Solution
I conducted UX research, user testing, and interface analysis. Additionally, I redesigned the entire UI, which had significant flaws. The new interface was simple, clear, and tailored to the local audience.
The app is currently in advanced development stages.

Research and Insights
To understand the issues with exposure and retention, I conducted user interviews, usability testing, and competitor analysis.
I discovered that users didn’t quickly grasp the app's value, struggled with navigation, faced a lengthy onboarding process, and found no reason to return.
The Solution:
Based on these insights, I redesigned the user experience and created a modern, intuitive interface.
I streamlined the onboarding process, added new screens, and redefined the app's flow.
Additionally, I tailored the interface to the Israeli audience, while ensuring it would also work seamlessly in French and English, to support a multilingual experience.
Current Status:
The new version of the app is currently in advanced development stages.

The add deal process ensures a fast and intuitive experience.
When a link is provided, the system automatically fetches and fills in the details, and if needed, users can easily complete the information manually.
In the future, a feature to reward active users is planned — it is currently in the planning stage.

The personal area provides easy access to profile and system settings, notifications (including alerts for personalized deals and notifications about comments on deals the user has uploaded), a list of favorite deals, and a history of deals uploaded by the user.
